Join in. Train hard. (Stay safe). Have fun!

We’re delighted to announce that all training will be re-starting from Wednesday 2nd December across all Cave sites: Olney and Woburn.

To provide a safe space for us all to enjoy we have strict measures in place for the safety of our members and staff. This includes rigorous cleaning plans, hygiene and ventilation protocols (indoor training), modified training environments for social distancing, a booking policy to control capacities, and much more. With these measures in place, and with the support from our members we can ensure that everyone can feel safe and protected.

The FIVE Cave commandments:

1. Don’t arrive unless you are symptom free

2. Complete your COVID SCREENING FORM before you first session

3. Keep 2m distance from others

4. Wash your hands thoroughly and regularly

5. Pre-book all of your sessions

Your safety is our number 1 priority. Find out what we're doing to keep you safe:

What we're doing

The wellbeing and safety of our community has always been a priority, for us and we will continue to ensure we provide a safe, and COVID SECURE environment for our members, the team, as well as the public. That’s why we’ve introduced new clearing, hygiene, and social distancing measures which have been advised by Public Health England.

Health and safety assessment

Each site has its own independent risk assessment which has been declared safe by the local authorities, enabling us to create a COVID SECURE environment.

Social distancing

Outdoor sessions: The Cave Grids ensure each person has their own dedicated training area, a minimum of 2 metres apart, as well as having a clear one way system to ensure social distancing is maintained at all times.

Indoor sessions: The indoor sessions [Olney] provides each person with their own dedicated training space with a minimum of 2 meters social distancing, as well as having a clear one way system to ensure social distancing is maintained at all times.

Managing groups

We are insistent all sessions require pre-booking so that we can manage who’s attending, as well as adhering to the appropriate social distancing and gathering sizes.

Cleaning and hygiene

We have increased the frequency of cleaning, as well as cleaning high-touch points after each session. Aside from everyone sanitising their hands upon entry, we are providing additional cleaning products to wash hands, and clean equipment.

All equipment will be cleaned and sanitised before and after each use.

The indoor facility [Olney] will have windows, doors, ventilation systems open.

Play your part to keep everyone safe

The hand wash warm up

A mandatory hand wash with antibacterial gel upon arrival will be necessary.

Travel Light

We don’t have anywhere to store any bags, or unnecessary items, so please have a think about what you need as you will have to keep these with you at all times. We encourage you to bring a drinks bottle, but do not bring bags, towels, or any excess items.

Arrive in good time

We ask you to arrive 5 minutes before the session begins.

Filter in and follow the one way

All sessions will have a clearly marked one-way system which will guide you to filter into the training area (your coach will assist you with upon arrival).

Get comfy

You will need to remain in your Cave Grid, or designated spaces for the entire duration of the session until you are instructed to leave.

Wipe down afterwards

When using equipment which is not your own you will be issued with the correct cleaning materials to sanitise any equipment you have used before you leave the session.

Au Revoir

Your coach will let you know when the session is finished, and we would ask that you do not create gatherings and always maintain safe social distancing from one another. We’re saving the fist pumps with a no contact policy.

Success during this difficult period requires support from us all in society. Rest assured we will continue to monitor the situation as closely as possible, so that we can continue to provide the safest environment for you and your family during this time.

We thank you for your support and cooperation.
